Paddington to turn on Christmas lights

Paddington Bear will be offering a helping hand at a Christmas market in Norfolk Square Gardens from November 29 to December 3.

Stallholders will be selling gifts, festive food will be available and performers will take to the stage at part of the entertainment each day from midday to 6pm.

Demonstrations will also be given in candle making, basket weaving, jewellery design and Christmas card making.

Collections will be held to raise money for Paddington's favourite charity, Action Medical Research.

Father Christmas, alongside Paddington, will be turning on the Christmas lights in Praed Street on December 1 at 6pm.
