The Copyrights Group has an international team of staff working together to represent writers, artists, and the owners of fine quality characters, fine art and brand names for licensing to manufacturers of consumer products and for consumer promotions.
The Copyrights Group has been associated with Paddington Bear since the early 1970s when the company’s CEO and Chairman, Nicholas Durbridge, drafted the first licence agreement granted by Michael Bond for a Paddington Bear soft toy.
The Copyrights Group now represents the merchandise rights for Paddington Bear worldwide, with more than 160 licensees creating Paddington products across the globe. In November 2007 The Copyrights Group were acquired by Chorion Ltd.
The Copyrights Group welcomes queries from manufacturers, distributors, retailers and promotions agencies to discuss opportunities to develop their business in partnership with Paddington Bear.
