This is the part of the site where Paddington fans from all over the world can share details of their collections with us all.

If you would like to be included in this section, please let us know! Details about how to do this are at the bottom of this page.

The latest fan to join us on this page tells us, in her own words, about her special bears.

Hello, I would like to share my Paddingtons with you!

I am Amanda, and I live in Plymouth, England. I have been a fan of Paddington Bear ever since I was a little girl.

Lucie with Amanda's bearsMy youngest daughter, Lucie, has also caught the vintage bear collecting bug and as such, she is shown posing with 4 VERY special bears. As you can see there are two versions of Paddington and two of Aunt Lucy.

The first Paddington (with a red coat), was bought for me at a specialist luxury good shops called Scandia, in Plymouth for a Christmas present, in 1972! I have many photos of me with him on that day: I think he’s aged better than me!

Original Gabrielle PaddingtonThis Paddington seems a bit different than many other Paddingtons. He has the stumpy feet; he also has genuine child’s Dunlop wellies, which were marked as "seconds" inside, as they had black marks on the rubber soles. He has never had a "Gabrielle Designs" label, and his features seem somewhat different from other Paddington bears.

In addition, he has a slightly different nose, face shape and fur colour, and as you can see from the picture, part of his label is missing, which was ripped by my eldest daughter in 1991!

The second Paddington, with yellow boots, was found in a Charity shop about 5 years ago, for £3.50!

Aunt LucyAunt Lucy (Orange clothes), was bought for me as a Christmas present, from eBay, a couple of years ago, by my husband, Guy.

The blue Aunt Lucy was bought by chance, by me in an auction, where it was mistakenly described in the auction catalogue as a "Peruvian rugby supporter’s bear!"

I love them all.

If you are interested appearing in this section of our website then please let us know. All you need to do is send us an email, telling us a bit about yourself and your Paddington items. Really anything which you think might be of interest to other people is fine but, for example, you might like to tell us how you first became interested in Paddington or which is your favourite item. We also need two or three photographs which can include you if you wish or not if you're shy!

Please email this to us, including any photographs as attachments, to collection@paddingtonbear.co.uk. If you're under 18 years of age then please make sure you obtain the permission of a parent or guardian before sending us any photographs which include yourself.
